Hello Shelton FC Families,
I hope all is well and you are having a great week both on and off the fields. This is a tough message to write, however I know rumours have started to circulate that I may be moving on at the end of the Spring season. Sadly, I confirm that I shall be moving on at the end of the Spring Spring season. After nearly 10 years involved in this great organization, I feel I have given the program everything I have and it is time for a new challenge.
This has been my dream job and from the day I stepped foot on US soil back in 2012 and was placed in the City of Shelton it has been a privilege to be a part of this great community! The support parents, players, coaches and volunteers have shown me and the program over the years has been amazing and for that I am so grateful! I have been blessed to work with thousands of players in Shelton over the years, many who have now graduated from college and some now coaching in our program. It has been a joy to work with all of them and they are the reason why Shelton FC is and will continue to be one of the biggest and best youth soccer programs in the State of CT.
I will move on knowing that the program is in good hands. We have a relatively new and proactive board of directors who I believe have the program headed in the right direction. I know that soon they will be able to announce the new Director of Coaching. The recruitment and hiring process being something I have been involved in and am very confident and excited for the program. New ideas and creativity I believe will help take the program to the next level and I wish Shelron FC and everyone involved all the best going forward.
We still have a very busy second half of the Spring season left and I shall still be around during the summer to help set the club up for the Fall season. I look forward to seeing you all in person on the fields over the coming weeks and watching our players continue to embrace and enjoy the beautiful game that is soccer! Thanks again for having me in your great community, I will be forever grateful.
